Exciting Growth Opportunities for School & College Building Expo Exhibitors!
As you are now aware, SCBE has been purchased by 1105Media, an industry leader in the educational technology space – publishing industry leading magazines and digital content (THE Journal with more than 120,000 K-12 educational technology subscribers and Campus Technology Magazine with more than 60,000 Higher Ed Technology Subscribers) as well as producing leading educational technology events.
In 2012, we feel the next step for the event is to continue to increase the overall attendance of the SCBE event – and to further expand the scope of the attendee profile through content enhancement. Our plans are to combine the SCBE event’s high quality conference with 1105 Media increased marketing power to attract even more Design, Construction and Facilities Management Professionals and . . .
Co-Locate SCBE with FETC, one of the world’s largest conference and trade show for educational technology. FETC takes place on January 23-26, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
SCBE will be a stand-alone event – specifically targeting Design, Construction and Facilities Management Professionals but will be immediately adjacent to the FETC Conference and Exhibit Hall, allowing for Attendees to visit both Conferences and Exhibit Floors to learn about and select the technology and products they need for their K-12 Districts, Schools and College Buildings.
Expansion of SCBE’s high quality conference program, including enhancement of content for Facilities Directors that will enhance the overall attendance for the event.
Full and Continued Support of the Co-Location by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and AIA’s Committee on Architecture for Education.
FETC attracts thousands of Administrators, Technologists, Educators and Facility Directors from across the US and the World – all of whom are looking for the technology used in educational environments – either for retrofit, refurbishment or in construction situations.
FETC’s national and International attendees represent +45,000 K-12 and Higher Ed Facilities, and with more than 15,000 buildings within a 300 mile radius of the event, we are placing SCBE in a target rich environment.
1105Media, the producers of FETC, will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both events, including conference development, attendee development and exhibit/sponsorship sales for the School and College Building Expo. JD Events, the most recent managers of the event, will be available to 1105 Media for overall event guidance and transfer of information.
With the addition of 1105Media’s educational marketing power and the planned co-location of the event with FETC 2012 - it is even more important now to make plans to meet face to face with the decision makers at the School & College Building Expo.
