Greg Monberg is a Principal with Fanning Howey, one of the largest K-12 school design firms in the United States. He has spent the last 19 years focusing on the planning and design of innovative learning environments. His projects include the new Lake Area High School in New Orleans, Louisiana – one of the first five "Quick Start" schools built in the wake of Hurricane Katrina – and several award-winning elementary schools in the Chicagoland area. Greg is a passionate advocate for transforming the way we instruct our children and prepare them for the New Economy. In 2011, he was one of several Subject Matter Experts invited to participate in a Facilities for 21st Century Learning design charrette held by the United States Department of Defense Education Activity. He has also presented at School and College Building Expo, VS American Days, and the annual conference of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International.
